Mercy Care

Faithful Stewards of the Gospel

In the midst of crisis, we turn to the Lord who is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Even as uncertainty and loss touch our communities, we are reminded that we do not face these moments alone. Christ is with us, and He calls His Church to be present with compassion, courage, and mercy.

We are actively responding to this situation and invite you to join us in prayer, care, and action.

We are working with local congregations, ministry partners, and community leaders to understand the needs and respond faithfully. Downed powerlines are slowing our ability to respond, but we do have small teams already activated. Expect multiple opportunities to respond over the next few months.

We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

How Can You Respond?

Pray
We ask all members of our church community to pray:
  • For those who are suffering loss, fear, or displacement
  • For first responders and caregivers
  • For wisdom, endurance, and compassion in all who serve

Give
Your financial gifts enable immediate and effective response, providing relief, care, and hope to those in need.

Serve, Encourage & Share
  • Reach out to those who may be affected
  • Share accurate updates and opportunities to help
  • Be a steady and hopeful presence in your community
As needs become clearer, there may be opportunities to serve directly through local congregations and coordinated efforts.

In every time of trial, the Church is called to be the hands and feet of Jesus—serving neighbors, bearing burdens, and proclaiming hope. Thank you for being part of this shared work of mercy and love.

"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2
