If you are serving in ministry and want to become a rostered minister of religion, this process offers participants training to achieve the theological and professional standards of LCMS membership.

Church Worker Recruitment

Since church work is rooted in Baptism and a lifetime of hearing the Word, Set Apart to Serve encourages young people to consider church work vocations primarily through their continued and faithful involvement with their congregation.


Scholarships and Grants

Members of congregations of the South Wisconsin District preparing for full-time church work in the LCMS may be eligible to receive financial assistance through the District. Annual applications are due before May 15 each year.
