On behalf of the SWD Conference Planning Committee, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 2025 Spring Pastor’s Conference scheduled for May 12-14 at Radisson Hotel in La Crosse under the theme: Teaching the Faith in the Parish: Catechesis, Confirmation, and Genesis.
Our speakers are Rev. Mark Surburg, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marion, IL (2nd VP of SID) and Rev. Dr. Brian German, professor of Theology at Concordia University Wisconsin.
We will also be having two one-hour presentations by SWD District President Rev. Eric Skovgaard, entitled Teaching the Difference between Lutheranism and Roman Catholicism in the Parish, and by Dr. Erik Ankerberg as an update on CUWAA with time for Q&A.
The venue for this event will be the Radisson Hotel (200 Harborview Plaza in La Crosse). The conference will officially begin on Monday, May 12 with our opening Divine Service at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church (1407 Main St, La Crosse, WI, 54601) at 1:00pm. SWD President, Rev. Eric Skovgaard, will be the preacher. Please make every effort to attend!
