Missions isn’t a program or department. It’s the core of what the church is and does. After all, “the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10). And He continues to seek and save the lost through His bride, the church.

There was a time when “mission” brought up exotic images of missionaries sharing the Gospel with natives in far-away lands. We still do that, but today those far-away lands are sending God’s people here to share the Gospel, too!

We are pleased to use resources from our congregations to reach out in the name of Jesus to people all over our District. Rural, suburban, urban: we have it all in SWD. Immigrants from Africa and Asia, Hispanic friends from dozens of nations, the incarcerated and the deaf…we have been given opportunities to reach them with the precious Gospel. We are privileged to support SWD congregations in their outreach efforts, and we are honored to resource ministries on their behalf. Your mission offerings are an important element in allowing these good things to happen. We thank you! Our District missions are especially in need of your prayers and support right now. If you have any specific questions that we can answer for you, please give our missions office a call at 414-292-0744.

See our online giving information for pledges and gifts – available for organizations and individuals.

Together we are seeing the mission field surrounding us and, in bold witness of the gospel, we are impacting our changing and diverse communities. By God’s grace, we are, “Confessing Christ for the next generation!”
