July 7-8 – The Age of the Earth Creation Conference at CUW

Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, WI will host the fifth annual creation conference. New this year will be a “basics day” held on Friday morning, July 7. These presentations will provide an introduction and overview of the Doctrine of Creation. Friday evening and Saturday will focus on the conference theme of the age of the earth. The presenters will provide strong evidence that the earth and universe are thousands of years old, but not billions as the evolution model supposes.

Keynote speakers are Dr. Don DeYoung and Dr. Russ Humphreys. Both are well known scientists who have thoroughly investigated the creation model and found it to be a true explanation for origins.

For more information, please go to Society of Creation Conferences.

Feb. 18-19, 2017 – Higher Things Youth Retreat

A Higher Things Youth Retreat

February 18-19, 2017

Trinity Lutheran Church
Sheboygan, WI

Join us in Sheboygan at Trinity Lutheran Church for our Tenth Annual Higher Things Retreat!

MARTIN LUTHER NAILED IT! When it comes to salvation there’s only one Savior in town! He’s Jesus! Not you! Or anybody else! Yes, that’s right, JESUS ONLY. Solus Christus is the Lutheran Reformation’s way of putting it! When Jesus alone does the salvation verbs, the forgiveness of sins and eternal life are certain and sure. Let’s clinch it this way: Heaven depends on Good Friday Jesus alone taking all your sin (indeed “becoming sin” 2 Corinthians 5:21) because when push comes to shove, either that sin will be on you or on Jesus. Thanks be to God that Jesus alone answered for all your sin and all its damnation. Because of Jesus alone you are reconciled to God. That’s the kind of Solus Christus you can live and die with. That’s the kind of Solus Christus that the Reformation was all about!
