YOU MUST WRITE YOUR OWN ARTICLES. The District office does not have a staff of reporters, photographers, and writers. If you write a note saying, "Please write an article about...," we cannot unfortunately, honor those requests. Likewise, while we love to receive your church newsletters, we cannot author articles about what is happening in your parish.
PROPER FORMAT AND STYLE IS NEEDED.
- All articles must be typed.
- Include a detailed headline.
- List author’s name and position (e.g., Stewardship Committee, St. John/Anytown).
- Please include a contact name, phone number and e-mail address in case we have questions.
PHOTOGRAPHS, LOGOS, LINE DRAWINGS, AND CLIP ART ARE VALUED. Graphics catch the reader’s eye and greatly enhance your submission. Photographs should include captions and all people should be named. Closeups or portraits are preferred over group shots for ordinations, etc. Hard copy images will be returned upon request if a self-addressed stamped envelope is included.
