2008 Campus Missionary Institute at CU-W June 12-17
Initial training for the 2008 campus missionary institute (CMI), will be held on the Concordia University Wisconsin (Mequon) campus June 12-17. CMI is the Lutheran Campus Mission Association’s in-depth learning opportunity to help workers and the ministries they serve develop and implement a strategic plan for outreach on a nearby college or university campus. CMI is sponsored by the Lutheran Campus Mission Association, an organization with ties to LCMS World Mission.
There is an early bird application deadline of April 21, 2008, with fee of $150. The normal application deadline is May 5, 2008, with an application fee of $200.
CMI is for workers who wish to:
- be renewed in the vision for campus mission ministry
- develop and implement a strategic plan for an existing, healthy campus mission ministry
- develop a vision and develop and implement a strategic plan to start a new campus mission ministry, transform a dormant ministry, or expand a plateaued one
Enrollment is limited to 20 persons, and all applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis as they are received. It's possible that CMI may be filled prior to the deadline(s), so please complete the application process as soon as possible.
