Fifth graders from Immanuel Lutheran School in Brookfield
Thursday, December 13, 2007 :: 1225 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Missions, Evangelism, Schools ::

For several years as part of a "Christ Care" project in his classroom, teacher Paul Gohde and his students at Immanuel, Brookfield, have collected hundreds of books to send to English-speaking Christian schools in the Central American country of Belize. Due to changes in transportation, the 700+ children's books are being sent as part of a shipment to Nigeria along with hymnals and other Christian books. Children's books will continue to be collected at Immanuel with hopes that shipping them to Belize can be resumed in 2008. A collection for the shipping costs to Nigeria will be taken as a mission offering later this school year.
