On May 13, there was great rejoicing and praising God for the outpouring of his Holy Spirit on the people of Hmong Hope Lutheran Church in Milwaukee! Not only were eight young people received into communicant membership by confirmation of their faith, but an adult and infant were made members in the faith through Holy Baptism.

Hope meets at Hope Lutheran, 1115 N. 35th Street in Milwaukee. This chartered congregation of about 170 members is being served by SWD missionary-at-large, Rev. Yia Vang. Vang has been instrumental in starting many Hmong ministries throughout Wisconsin. He is also developing new ministries in Thailand in coordination with LCMS Hmong Ministries.
