Fall pastors' conference
Nov. 2-4, 2009 • Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Appleton

The 2009 fall pastors' conference will be held at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton.  We will convene Monday, Nov. 2 through Wednesday, Nov. 4.  The theme for the conference is "Healthy Pastors."  The main presenters will be Rev. Dr. Bruce Hartung, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and Rev. Dr. Daniel Preus, Luther Academy.  Room reservations are to be made directly with the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel by calling (800) 333-3333. When making reservations, please state that you will be attending the SWD pastors' conference.  A room rate of $89 is available until Oct. 11, 2009. You will need to provide proof of your tax exempt status.  The fee for this conference is $90, which covers the cost of all provided meals, bus transportation to the barbeque banquet and the Play It Sports activity.  Retired pastors and wives of attendees are exempt from the conference fee, however would still need to pay $60 during registration if a meal package is desired.  Active clergy not attending must still register and remit a fee of $50. Please note there will not be childcare provided at this conference and no additional meal tickets will be available. The registration deadline is Oct. 19, 2009.
