Registration
Conference registration is now open. The early-bird registration deadline is Sept. 15, 2011. After that date, there will be a $30 per person late fee. The final deadline is Oct. 1, 2011.
 
This is a required conference for full-time rostered professional church workers. If an active rostered worker cannot attend, a $75 conference fee and letter explaining the absence are required prior to the start of the conference. Send to: South Wisconsin District-LCMS, Attn: Professional Church Workers' Conference, 8100 W. Capitol Dr., Milwaukee, WI 53222.
  • Churches, schools, and other ministries will register their staff members and handle conference fee payments via secure online registration. Register all staff at one time.  
     
  • Active professional church workers: Complete this handy worksheet, then turn it in at your organization's office to have them register you for this event. Do not mail worksheets to the District office.
  • Retired professional church workers: Complete the same online registration as the organizations.
Hotel reservations will be handled directly by the Kalahari Resort. See the Lodging section for more information.

Participant meals included:
  • Thursday box lunch
    Sandwich, fruit, chips, cookie and beverage
  • Thursday pasta buffet dinner
    Chicken breast, penne pasta, meat filled ravioli, tri-colored tortellini, marinara, Alfredo sauce, antipasta tray, breadsticks, Caesar salad, Italian cookie and dessert extravaganza, and beverages
  • Friday breakfast buffet
    Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, assorted breads, fruit, juice, coffee and tea

There are refrigerators and microwaves in each room.
 

Additional meal tickets:

  • Thursday pasta buffet dinner - $35
  • Friday continental breakfast - $12

Retirement/Pre-Retirement Planning:
If you would like to meet one-on-one with Paul Snyder, Concordia Plan Services, please check the appropriate box on the registration form. Someone will contact you to set up a time for either Wednesday evening or Thursday.

Teaching the Faith:
This optional session runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. 
THEME for 2011:  FAITH TALKS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN: The Fruits of the Spirit
Discover new ways to dialogue with children about their faith in Jesus and what it means in their everyday lives. Using Bible stories that focus on the fruits of the Spirit, you will explore open-ended questions, role-play and visuals that will stimulate conversation, worship and prayer in your classroom or center.

Teaching the Faith is a workshop to assist you in enhancing the faith development and worship experiences of the children entrusted to you, the workshop is for those who work with children ages 0-8 years of age.

There is no cost for this session if you are registered for the PCWC.  If you are planning on just attending this session, there is a $20 registration fee.
