Lodging reservations for the Professional Church Workers Conference are to be arranged by phone with the
Kalahari Resort & Convention Center, (877) 253-5466. Reservations may be made beginning August 1, 2011. The hotel booking deadline is October 3.
Ask for a room in the Professional Church Worker 2011 block. Cancellations should be made directly with the hotel.
There are four types of housing that are blocked for our conference, with the following costs per night for Wednesday and Thursday, November 2-3, 2011.
- Standard room – The Kalahari shall provide a room with two queen beds based upon the number of guests sharing the room to a maximum of four people. Rooms with two queen beds may also be available with a sofa bed. $109 (four guests)
- King Whirlpool suite – One king bed, full size sofa with sleeper, large whirlpool tub with private balcony. $119 (two guests)
- Two-room family suite – One king bed, separate room with two queen beds, full size sofa sleeper, 2 TVs and two full size baths. $199 (six guests)
- Royal African Queen suite – Two bedrooms: one with two queen beds, one with king bed. Living room group with queen sofa sleeper and fireplace. Three televisions, one and one half baths, whirlpool tub and large balcony/patio. $199 (six guests)
- Check in is at 4:00 pm. You will have access to the water park upon arrival. Check out is at 11:00 am.
- Up to two additional guests may be added to rooms for an additional $20 fee per person.
- Guest number for each type of room will indicate how many water park passes are distributed.
- All rooms and suites have at least one 27” TV, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, coffee maker, hair dryer, internet access and On Command Movies (pay per view).
- Deposit policy: one night at the time the reservation is made.
- Cancellation policy: 72 hours, or more, prior to arrival to receive full refund less $25 processing fee. Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits entire deposit.
