Our theme scripture is Jeremiah 17:7-8:
"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Our "Rooted In Christ" focus is Trust - trust in God to lead our lives. Our keynote speaker on Monday will be Dr. Micah Parker, aka The Trust Guy. We will begin Sunday with a family Christian comedian, Charles Marshall. We believe these speakers to be exceptional motivators encouraging each of us to look to God and put our faith and trust in him. Additionally, we will have many other speakers and sectional leaders to appeal to all levels of instruction and administration.
This conference will present a full schedule of worship, keynotes, and sectionals. The conference will begin with a sectional at 3 pm on Sunday. During the evening, we will continue with devotion at 6 pm, followed by an event for the whole family, Christian comedian Charles Marshall.
Monday’s schedule begins with opening communion worship at 8:15 am, followed by our keynote speaker, Dr. Micah Parker aka the Trust Guy. The afternoon will include various sectionals that will cover topics from early childhood through administration. These will conclude at 3:30 pm.
Tuesday's schedule begins at 8:30 am and concludes at 11:30 am.
Online registration for the conference will open on Saturday, August 10, 2009. Information on registration procedures will be posted soon.
Conference registration is $130.00 for each participant.
However, if you register prior to September 15, 2009, the conference registration is $110.00 per participant and includes lunch, dinner and snacks on Monday, along with breakfast on Tuesday.
Registration fees for student teachers and retirees are $60.00.
