Assessment
The expense of convention delegate participation, facilities, duplication, electronic balloting and so forth is shared by all South Wisconsin District churches through an assessment based on the number of communicant members in the church. The assessment per communicant member is used to determine each congregation’s fair share.
 
The 2012 convention budget is based on $1.50 per communicant member, drawn from figures in the Lutheran Annual. Invoices was mailed to congregation treasurers in February 2012.
