Rev. Carl Lehenbauer installed at Trinity-Freistadt, Mequon

On June 30, 2008, Rev. Carl W. Lehenbauer was installed as associate pastor of Trinity-Freistadt, Mequon. Rev. Rob Mrosko of St. Paul, Decatur, Ill., was guest preacher. Participating pastors included Robert Johnson, Peter Kelm, Robert Bernhardt, President John Wille, Phillip Hillenbrand, George Mumm, Cal Seban, Bernhard Huesmann, John Suelflow, Kevin Voss, John Saleska, Rob Donaldson, Wilmer Reichmann, Kenton Wendorf and Daniel Schneider.
 On June 29, 2008, Rev. Todd McVey was installed as pastor at Good Shepherd by the Lake in Stoughton. Also participating in the service were SWD President John Wille, Rev. Steve Sutterer and Rev. Arleigh Lutz.
Jason Zirbel ordained at St. Peter, Waterford
 Jason Zirbel was ordained into the pastoral ministry Sunday, June 15 at St. Peter, Waterford. Baptized and confirmed at Faith, Sturtevant, Zirbel was married at St. Peter, where his wife, Jeannette and daughters Haley and Carley were baptized, and where he preached his first and last sermons as a seminarian. Before entering the seminary, Zirbel served four years in the Marine Corps then worked as a machinist and carpenter. His vicarage was completed at Faith, Tullahoma, Tenn., and he has been called to be the pastor of Grace, Greenwood, Ark.

Rev. Peter Peitsch was installed as the first full-time resident pastor of Grace, Elkhart Lake, on Sunday, June 8, 2008. Grace was organized in 1960 as a daughter congregation of Zion, Glenbeulah. The two churches shared a pastor until earlier this year, when they agreed to dissolve their dual parish and call two pastors to serve them.
Peitsch served most recently at Trinity, Waconia, Minn. He and his wife, Clare, have four children: Christian, Caleb, Madelyn and Marielle.
