Over 250 children attend Sheboygan cooperative VBS

For the fourteenth consecutive year, the Sheboygan area Lutheran cooperative vacation Bible school completed a successful four days June 14-18, 2011, on the campus of Sheboygan Lutheran High School.
Two hundred sixty seven children from 10 area Lutheran churches enjoyed four outdoor learning centers, where they heard lessons relating to the theme "Keeping God's Kingdom," which underscored the relationship of people as stewards of all God's creation, and the role people play in preserving that creation. The children also participated in theme related games, and prepared theme related snacks, all with the assistance of over 150 volunteers. A program on Friday evening, with songs and a PowerPoint presentation of the children involved in all the week's activities brought the week to a successful close.
