Christ Memorial, Madison, receives SMP vicar at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, winter placement

Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, announced that seven students received calls to be pastors in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Ten students received vicarage assignments through the Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) program. The assignments were celebrated during the Seminary’s morning chapel service on Feb. 10, 2011. 

In the South Wisconsin District, Matthew Wipperman received an SMP vicarage assignment to Christ Memorial, Madison.
