Stewardship buffet provides resources, Bible studies and training for congregations and their members. Together with Lutheran Church Extension Fund and the LCMS Foundation, presentations are offered on:

  • The eight principles of biblical stewardship
  • A stewardship Bible study on 2 Corinthians 8 & 9
  • An Acts 4 look at stewardship
  • Basics of personal money management
  • Basics of time management
  • Basics of Christian estate planning

Stewardship Sunday is an option available to congregations throughout the year. For a Stewardship Sunday, our presenters come to your congregation and offer:

  • A sermon on biblical stewardship
  • A Bible class discussing the eight biblical stewardship principles; Christian estate planning and Christian money management.

The Congregational Stewardship Workbook contains 27 separately-bound booklets to assist pastors and congregational stewardship leaders with all the facets of congregational stewardship education from building an effective committee to gathering annual commitments. Pastors and congregational stewardship leaders who have used the workbook agree that it is the best comprehensive resource ever developed by The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. It won't do everything for you, but it will provide you with all kinds of helps and information for raising stewardship to the next level in your congregation. This comprehensive resource is available by contacting the District office. Cost is $40 plus shipping.

Consecrated stewards - Periodic training sessions are provided to equip congregational stewardship leaders to make use of The New Consecration Sunday program by Herb Miller. As part of the training, participants are also made aware of the enhancements provided by LCEF in “Consecrated Stewards.”
