Lutheran schools superintendent assists congregations that are operating Lutheran schools with staffing, call lists, accreditation, visits, state and federal advocacy, research, consultation and professional growth for teachers.
- Early childhood education aids congregations start early childhood ministries and bring Christ to little children with consultation, materials conferences, pastoral enrichment and professional growth for teachers.
- Genesis is a resource to assist congregations in starting Lutheran elementary and secondary schools consisting of a one-day consultation and a feasibility study. Contact the District superintendent of schools for more information.
- Strengthening Schools and Congregations is a resource to assist congregations in strengthening and revitalizing Lutheran elementary schools that are experiencing problems, so that the mission of sharing the caring Christ can be more effectively accomplished. Trained consultants are available without cost. Application must be made through the District superintendent of schools.
- Staff development provides seminars and conferences for professional church workers.

Ministry Technology Mentor project announces fall programs

 Ministry Technology Mentor Project fall program information is now available. A new class being launched this fall may be of interest to DCEs, DCOs, and pastors—EDG 814, "Educational Ministry in the Digital World." Dr. Bernard Bull will teach this class. Two popular courses will be taught face-to-face on the Concordia University Wisconsin campus this fall.

The Lord has called school administrators and faculty to be leaders “for such a time as this.” Gary Janetzke, SWD congregational services executive for youth, family and schools, will lead participants through a process that will enable school staffs to discover and live out focused lives based on their individual callings.
Racine students design crosses for LuWiSoMo

The "Working with Woods II" students of Racine Lutheran High School designed and constructed 26 wooden crosses that were donated to Camp LuWiSoMo in Wild Rose to be placed in various buildings located at the camp. Lutheran Schools Day at Miller Park 2008 sells out tickets
Tickets sold out early for Lutheran Schools Day at Miller Park on May 10, 2008. The game was very well attended with over 1,100 people from 36 schools and churches.
