Members of Sheboygan area LCMS congregations and the Sheboygan Hispanic task force working in conjunction with Missionary-at-Large Pedro Lopez of Primera Iglesia in Racine, and Rev. David Paape of Immanuel Lutheran in Sheboygan have begun significant outreach to the large Hispanic community in the area. Concordia University pre-seminary student Luis Beltran has been working in Sheboygan with a stipend to assist this ministry. Luis is bilingual and has assisted with follow up on contacts developed through driver’s education and English as a second language classes and many social and community care programs.
