Chaplain Gary Ruckman is the only full-time chaplain serving the 2,000 inmates at the Milwaukee County House of Correction in Franklin. He is responsible for direct pastoral care and for coordinating the chaplain activities of the other denominations. Chaplain Ruckman conducts worship services, Bible study classes, counseling with individual inmates and serves as a support to other staff. A fund has been established that enables him to give a Bible to each inmate that enters the facility. His ministry is vital to the inmates and the religious life of the institution.
